Just clicked on this because of the title (I like this song, I'm from Germany, but I'm too lazy to write in German right now, got so used to using only English on dA though my English sucks ).
And I have to say, great picuture with a neat composition, classical somehow, but it really works for this atmosphere.
Nicely balanced colours and shapes, and I love the glowing stuff.

I'd guess it's somewhere in the future (maybe on a newly terraformed planet, therefore not yet overcrowded with habitats), just like "even with all our new high-tech gadgets we can't get rid of the oldest troubles of mankind, such as feelings of loss, lonelyness, ..."

And the shape of the city (?) in the front reminds me of Emerald City, lol.
